You can connect with like-minded people nearby to have lively conversations about specific topics that you are interested in. You are not your social media, and how it describe who you are as a unique individual. Simpozium lets you express yourself beyond pictures and describe yourself, yourself.

You can browse what other people are thinking and interested to talk nearby and can also share your topic of interests with them. If you like a topic, you can join the chatroom. Great conversations are sparked from great topics.

Chats

You can immediately start chatting with people once you join the topic chatroom. However, the best conversations happen face-to-face. So, when you feel comfortable and ready, you can set time and location to continue the conversation in real life (feature will be activated once the users been chatting with each other consistently).

For many of us, finding a meaningful and deep conversation is very rare and difficult. To have a great conversation, you need thought-provoking topics, people who share the similar interests, express and be heard in a safe and friendly environment, and communicate face-to-face. That’s why we created Simpozium to help people to find great conversations!

We are on a mission to become an antidote to the prevailing cultural norms and excessive use of social media and digital communications that in-fact contribute, based on multiple research studies, to the lack of human connections, loneliness, and furthermore, a deterioration of mental health.

As a start, we are launching Simpozium across college campuses in Los Angeles, CA. Although we are starting at college campuses, we welcome everyone who is looking to have great conversations.
